The Forty Second monthly Meeting of our Association was held on 9th February, 2026 in premises of Senior Citizen Association Meeting Hall at 5.00 PM.

The 42st General Meeting of the Senior Citizen Welfare Association was held on 9 February 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Senior Citizen Bhavan Meeting Hall. As per the approved agenda, the following discussions, acknowledgements, and resolutions were presented before the members and were unanimously approved.
The 42nd meeting of the Association was held on 9 February 2026 at 5:00 PM in the Senior Citizen Bhavan Meeting Hall. As per the agenda, the following discussions, acknowledgements and resolutions were presented before the members and approved by them.
1. Welcome Address : .
The Joint Secretary, Mr. K. Pandurangaiah, warmly welcomed all members who attended the 42nd meeting of the Association.
2. Invitation onto the Dias: .
The Joint Secretary respectfully invited all Executive Committee members onto the dais.
3. Introduction of New Member: .
The President formally welcomed Mr. A. Durgaprasad, who recently joined the Association. Mr. A. Durgaprasad introduced himself to the members.
4. Financial Security Awareness: .
Representatives from ICICI Bank, Lingampally Branch, explained to senior citizens the simple procedure for completing KYC.
Members were advised:
o.- Not to share personal information or OTPs with anyone.
o.- If unable to complete KYC personally, they may visit their own bank or any bank branch to complete it.
o.- KYC done in one bank is valid for all banks; it need not be repeated for each bank.
o.- Do not open unknown links.
o.- Do not download APK files.
o.- Delete festival greeting links received from unknown persons without opening them.
5. Birthday Wishes – February: .
Members celebrating birthdays in February were felicitated with shawls and greeted:

o.- Dr. C. Manik Prabhu – 15/02/1960 – 66th Birthday

o.- Dr. A. Jayanth Kumar – 22/02/1951 – 75th Birthday
Members absent from the meeting were also greeted with applause, and the President prayed for their health and long life:

o.- Mr. V. Raj Gopal – 15/02/1956 – 70th Birthday

o.- Mr. R. Ramakrishna Rao – 12/02/1950 – 76th Birthday

6. 3rd Series – 10th Chit Lucky Draw: .
The 10th chit draw was jointly conducted by Mr. G. Venkateswara Rao and Mr. Pandurangaiah.
The chits were picked by Mr. Ramana Muni Srinivasa Rao and Mr. Purushottam Govind Rathor.
Mr. K. Vijay Kumar won the lucky draw.
7. Financial Report: .
The financial report for the year 2025 was presented by the Finance Secretary and Treasurer, Mr. V. Venu Mohan Rao.
All members approved the report with a standing ovation.
8. Acknowledgements and Thanks: .
The President expressed heartfelt thanks on behalf of all members:
o.- To GHMC Commissioner, Additional Commissioner (UCD), Zonal Commissioner (Serilingampally), Deputy Commissioner (Serilingampally),
o.- Corporator Sri. Jagadeeshwar Goud Garu and Corporator Sri. Nagender Yadav Garu Garu for their efforts in getting sanction of ₹50,000 for infrastructure and ₹6,000 monthly caretaker honorarium.
o.- To Mr. Srikanth Garu for properly guiding us and preparing the pending representation properly and arranging supporting documents.
o.- To senior members who extended support throughout.
Special thanks were also conveyed: .
o.- To GHMC Serilingampally officials for inviting and honouring senior citizens on Voters Day.
o.- To the sports committee and participating members for organizing and participating in Republic Day 2026 games and competitions.
o.- To members who took the Voters’ Day pledge to vote responsibly without caste, religion or inducement.
Announcements: .
o.- A free hearing test camp will be conducted on 14 February 2026 from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Subsidy will be provided for hearing aids if required.
o.- A committee has been formed to organize a get-together picnic in the first week of March, including arrangements for venue, food, transport and finances.
9. Question Hour – Other Matters: .
During open discussion, Dr. Manik Prabhu informed that, with donor support, lighting arrangements will be installed to train players from the Association to participate in state and national level carrom competitions.
10. Vote of Thanks: .
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Joint Secretary Mr. Pandurangaiah.
